Meet The Team
We are a small team of doctors trained and working in the UK, who are passionate about education and healthcare
Dr Anu Akinfala
Dr Akinfala is the founder and CEO of Healing Hope. She is GMC registered doctor who trained in the University of Southampton, UK. She has vast work experience in England, Northern Ireland and the United States.

She completed the academic foundation programme, has sat the USLME exams step 1 and 2. As of 2023, she is an ED registrar, passionate about training upcoming medical students and junior doctors. She mentors medical students in her free time and organises local training for ED specialty doctors. She has been arranging OSCE teaching sessions of medical students since 2013.
She has always been passionate about education; building a school in Nigeria as a medical student in 2010, through her charity Education Is Key. She started a non-profit organisation YouRestored in 2013 as a medical doctor, where she she has provided healthcare and education in various countries.
She is married with two children
Dr Lizzie Adeniken
Dr Adeniken is a GMC registered, Southampton trained junior doctor currently working as a GP trainee as of 2023.
From a young age she has had a passion for teaching. As a 6th form student she became a peer tutor, teaching younger students. During her summers as a medical student she worked as a teacher with a non-profit organisation running STEM activities for children from under privileged background in the West End of Newcastle. She has been a part the selection team interviewing incoming medical student at the University of Southampton. She organizes revision sessions with medical students. As a foundation year 2 doctor she developed simulation teaching session supporting foundation year 1 doctors in their transition to foundation year 2.
